FEMA Disability Stakeholders Call TODAY

FEMA Disability Stakeholders Call TODAY

"SAVE THE DATE for FEMA ODIC's Disability Stakeholders Call

FEMA’s Office of Disability Integration and Coordination (ODIC) is planning a Disability Stakeholders call for Wednesday, September 16, 2020, from 1 -2 p.m. Eastern Time.  An invitation will follow.

September is National Preparedness Month. As our nation continues to respond to COVID-19, weather related events and fires, we know disasters and emergencies do not wait for a convenient time to happen. National Preparedness Month is observed each September to encourage us to take steps to prepare for disasters that could happen at any time.

On the call, we look forward to discussing preparedness:  what individuals with disabilities and organizations who serve people with disabilities can do to work on and improve preparedness, including the ways we can work together.  We hope you will be able to join us!

The 2020 NPM theme is: "Disasters Don’t Wait. Make Your Plan Today."

If you have questions or would like to be a part of this call, please contact FEMA-Disability-Integration-Coordination@fema.dhs.gov.
