OKLAHOMA CLINICAL EDUCATION TEAM TRAINING

 

If you are interested in an educational forum designed to improve the

capacity and to provide supports to individuals with IDD and behavioral

health needs by teaching through discussion of a case, please come join us

for a Clinical Education Team Training!

 

Presented by Oklahoma DHS, David O’Neal, MS, LMHC, Project Facilitator, The Center for

START Services and Leslie Smith, MD, Medical Director, Ark START

 

WHAT: The Center for START Services will be offering a Clinical Education Team Training.

Clinical Education Teams (CETs) are learning forums for START teams and

community providers to reflect on practice and learn together in the context of an

active case. CETs are learning forums, not case consultations and individuals,

family members and/or guardians do not attend. However, a review of

recommendations with individuals and families occur as follow up from the

meeting.

 

WHO: START team members, local mental health clinicians, psychiatrists, medical

physicians, teachers, IDD, emergency and/ or inpatient service providers

 

WHEN: Thursday, August 1, 2019,9:00 am to 12:00 pm OKC/Norman Location

                                                                    &

                   Wednesday, July 31, 2019 9:00 am to 12:00pm    Tulsa Location
